Volvo Cars is committed to becoming a leader in the electric car market and plans to become a fully electric car company by 2030. Currently, all new Volvo models in the U.S. are either hybrids or electric vehicles. With such a commitment, it shouldn't surprise you that Volvo is designing electric vehicles that will go further on one charge than we ever have before.

Volvo makes three fully electric vehicles. Here's a little about each and their range on a single charge:Â
C40 Recharge
The C40 Recharge is a fully electric Crossover. It doesn't force you to choose between power and responsible driving. It comes with a single motor that delivers 248 hp or twin motors that deliver 402 hp. The single motor version will go from 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds and the twin motors will do it in just 4.6 seconds. Inside, both versions seat five occupants comfortably and still provide 15 cubic feet of load compartment space. With the rear seats down, you can increase the load compartment space to 49 cubic feet with a flat load floor which makes larger objects easier to load and unload.
The C40 Recharge with a single motor has a range of up to 297 miles on a single charge, while the twin motors will go up to 257 miles.
